Abandoned Trailer

Reported in the Abandoned vehicles category anonymously at 08:48, Fri 3 November 2017 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Cherwell District Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1137920.

This trailer has been left her since Thursday Morning before 7am as this is the time I gone to work every day. It is parked just off the entrance in to Waltham Gardens Banbury making getting out of Waltham Gardens dangerous. The traffic in the morning getting on to Overthorp industrial estate and late afternoon getting off have to stop holding as there is only one lane because of this trailer. The amount of lorry’s that park up for the night along overthorp road is a danger to pedestrians and motorist alike. This road needs to be yellow lined to stop unwonted parking along this road.

  • It would seem nothing has been done about these vehicles parking here and causing an obstruction. I reported something similar (and much worse) and was told to report it to the police as they have the power to enforce. Problem is there are no yellow lines or other parking restrictions so what is there for the police to enforce? As you have said, there needs to be at least double yellow lines on both sides of the road from the roundabout at Ermont Way to the bend into the industrial estate.
