Overgrown Hedgerows

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 09:45, Tue 31 October 2017

Sent to Hampshire County Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1135775.

The section of footpath from the Allbrook roundabout down to the junction of Twyford Road & Ruskin Road is badly overgrown. The effective width of the already narrow footpath is reduced to no more than a single-person width due to overgrown hedges. Perhaps more dangerous are the numbers of trailing brambles that overhand the path and in the dark they catch around your hair & face. This is especially noticeable now that the clocks have changed and the lighting along this stretch of road doesn't allow users to see the brambles in time to be avoided.
