Status unknown
At the extreme western end of Park Road trees are overhanging the roadway so far that any vehicles of more height than a car, (I have a modest Motor Home), have to drive on the wrong, (Right hand), side of the road when entering Park Road from the Buxton Road. I have had the small television aerial on the roof of my camper wiped off by the trees a long time ago. There has been no action for years and this is a danger to all who drive on this part of the road.

Not only the above problem, but trucks of the phone company repairing the junction box on the corner had to park away from the north kerb due to the height of the equipment carried, fouling the trees. Also, during the recent storm, the swaying of the trees was pulling at the mains, overhead cables that pass through the middle of the tree tops !

Recently, an attempt has been made to trim the hedge back but it has only been part completed as there is still an overhang into the road and Park Road main overhead power cables still moved about with the tree branches during the gales recently.

Not a thing has been done and other trees in the village have been cut back on council orders. What about this dangerous set of trees?
