Potholes worse than ever !

Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 20:40, Wed 25 October 2017

Sent to Hampshire County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1132901.

After my last complaint, and a 'repair' in the summer, the potholes are still there as bad as ever. They fill with water making their depth impossible to judge. Very dangerous on a bike - some-ones going to get injured here one day.

  • Still no action. This is a public road, not a remote farm track

  • Well it was due to be done - yellow signs saying the road would be closed (presumably for repairs) and then.......nothing. The signs have gone and ,yes, you guessed it, no repair. Don't hold your breath over this everybody - this could be a long wait!

  • Under the bridge there are now 4/5 huge holes, very deep full of water so you cant see how deep they are. Its been like this for months now, not on!!

  • Getting worse ....even the potholes have got potholes now. I'm nominating this for the potholes of the year competition - it's got to win !

  • I'm told that this will be fixed permanently in a few months, with a patch-up repair sooner. The drainage will also be improved so it doesn't flood. Well, that's what I've been told by email.
