Thank you for clearing the path at this point; even better had you also turned 180 degrees, looked across the Church Road junction and attended to the disappearing path leading to Hewitt's Roundabout. This shared-use path from The Highway to Hewitt's Roundabout does not appear fit for purpose, being less than the width recommended by TfL and Sustrans. Meanwhile vehicles speed past unencumbered on the carriageway.

This report has been referred to our Traffic Management Team who are responsible for the way traffic is managed on Bromley's roads; including, but not limited to, implementing new road markings and signage in relation to road safety and parking; walking and cycling improvements, including identifying locations for new cycle racks and installing Vehicle Activated speed signs - however, please note that responsibility for enforcing speed limits rests with the Police.
Where requests are made for changes, our Traffic Management Team will consider all requests but often there is a need for a full investigation, planning and consultation within the local area particularly around proposed new traffic schemes, and any considerations must be balanced with borough-wide priorities. This report is now closed on FixMyStreet and our Traffic Management Team will consider this matter.State changed to: Internal referral
