On grassed area on Shaftsbury Avenue along side Aimson Road East.

Reported in the Trees category by Roy Harris at 12:37, Tue 17 October 2017

Sent to Trafford Borough Council 4 minutes later

Large branches have split away from tree trunk and requires chain saw to cut the large sections of branches. Whilst on this area of grass the whole area needs to be scanned for all the other smaller branches that have broken away during the storm.

Updates

  • A Branch of the tree has not been removed. It is about 10feet long and 10inch diameter. As previously mentioned chain saws may be needed to cut in small sections for removal.

  • Originally the response was quick but the response to removing the large branch has been poor. It is not an area to leave it to rot or for small creatures to make it their home. If it was in Dunham park I could understand it being left.

  • Had to report it twice to get problem completed. Large branch has now been cut up and taken away.
