Homeless beggars in Harrow on the Hill Station annoying commuters

Reported anonymously at 19:48, Sun 15 October 2017

Sent to Harrow Borough Council 2 minutes later

There are a group of men and one woman in Harrow who claim to be homeless. The strange thing is if you talk to them individually they all tell the same story. 'I had a good job, lived with my girlfriend, she cheated on me, I was so upset I walked out, she wouldn't let me back home again as we lived with her parents and I ended up on the street'. They are all junkies and beg for money to buy drugs. They help people with their bags up and down the steps and then ask for money. There is also the dealer who pretends to sell drawings and paintings. TFL do nothing about these people. They are a nuisance and are swindling people. They also hang around Tesco and behind Safari Cinema and on Rosslyn Crescent.

  • Police are nowhere to be seen either. Harrow Town centre is becoming a no go area. Why they are building those tower blocks, the area is appalling no one in their right mind is going to want to live in Harrow due to the amount of vagrants and other strange people hanging around.

  • I spoke to one last week who was asking people if she could have the £1 from their shopping trolleys and was telling people she was homeless. I told her I knew she wasn’t homeless as she lived on Rosslyn Crescent and she just started laughing. Not homeless, no need to be begging.
