Bus Shelter Needed.
Reported in the Bus stops category by Norman Green at 07:31, Thu 12 October 2017
Sent to Leicestershire County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1124529.
I have emailed Leicestershire County Council regarding installation of Bus Shelters in Hinckley. There have been numerous amounts of new shelter erected in and around Hinckley but when you try and get one for the area in which you live the excuse is that there is no budget available. The Bus Stop in question is in Upper Bond Street, opposite Well Lane, in Hinckley, LE10 1RP. This "Stop" is a very busy one, used by many local residents or visitors including Factory Workers from early hours until late. A "See Through" type would be ideal as it would not block the view of residents nearby but would protect local transport users during the wet weather. Kind regards.

The powers that be are completely uninterested claiming they don't have the Budget for one more little Bus Shelter that is so needed in Upper Bond Street.

Unless we make a big fuss and start a Petition I don't suppose we'll ever get a much needed bus shelter in Upper Bond Street, opposite Well Lane. The excuse was that the Budget didn't allow for just one little bus shelter. Need I say more.?
