  • Council claimed not a problem with leaves & pine needles on tarmac footpath also claim nothing wrong with the road storm drains being blocked with leaves & pine needles pouring into the drains & blocking the drains. I fear a crash or person slipping up & being injured. council wont even unblock the drain grates nor sweep up the slip hazard on the public tarmac footpath which used to be a wide path but now pedestrians are forced to walk almost on the curbside to avoid leaves etc, hence this is a huge health & safety hazard walking that close to fast moving HGV's, it is a road or pavement users death waiting to happen. If someone is injured as a result of blocked road drains (pooling surface water) via aquaplaning or skidding or slipping up on leaves & pine needles, I will make the victim aware of the fact the council knew of the safety hazard & todate took no mitigating action
