Conifers obscuring street light and blocking pavement

Reported in the Trees category anonymously at 13:57, Thu 5 October 2017

Sent to Bassetlaw District Council 3 minutes later

The conifers are now so high that when walking down River Lane at night it is impossible to see where one is putting one's feet. The conifer hedge is also overgrowing the pavement and making it impossible to walk on. People have to walk in the road and both the former and latter problem are dangerous to pedestrians.

  • There seem to be two problems here. I did not report the latter but to my knowledge neither have yet been fixed. The trees on River Lane are particularly bad and it is impossible to see road which is uneven and also to walk on the pavement.
