Offensive symbols and cartoon on fence

Reported in the Graffiti category anonymously at 15:32, Sat 30 September 2017

Sent to Waverley Borough Council 2 minutes later

On the public footpath which starts on Guildford Road adjacent to the Bourne Mill and runs through to the B3007 (Six Bells Pub), there is Nazi graffiti on a wooden garden fence. There is a swastika, SS flashes and a cartoon of Adolf Hitler. The council had difficulty in locating this lane from my previous report of an abandoned trolley so if they cannot find this graffiti they should feel free to contact me and I will gladly direct their contractor to the location.

  • Council Contractors tried to obscure the largest symbol but were ineffective. They completely missed the other site. I pointed out the poor quality of work to the council and they had the matter addressed promptly.
