Moo bar obstruct pavement every weekend

Reported in the Obstruction or hazard on road category anonymously at 15:43, Fri 29 September 2017 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Warwickshire County Council 3 minutes later

Moo Bar on 24 Russell Street erects temporary barriers that obstruct the entire pavement every weekend to create a smoking area. The staff prohibit members of the public from walking along the pavement here. There is no signed diversion in place (as would be the case if the pavement was closed for legitimate reasons).

As such, many people walk in the road to avoid the obstruction, which is dangerous for those driving past given the inebriated condition of many passers-by. Additionally, any less-abled citizens are forced to cross the road twice to avoid the obstruction.

I request that Moo Bar be compelled to change the set up to allow free passage of pedestrians without having to cross the road or face verbal abuse and obstruction by the door staff.
