Horse Chestnut Trees in Park Road need serious pruning

Reported in the Public tree requires pruning category by Paul Tobin at 09:57, Fri 29 September 2017

Sent to Bromley Council 3 minutes later

These trees, particularly from the j/w Copers Cope Road, are obstructing the street lights. People walking from New Beckenham Station are potentially at risk. There are also a number of trees from private residences that are causing potential health hazards by low hanging branches.

  • As outlined in the email sent directly to the reporter Park Road has been added to a priority list for our Clear Borough scheme which means our contractor will remove all the low growth on every tree that is obstructing the highway and footway. The aspect regarding private trees has been passed to our Highway Enforcement Team.
