Overhanging trees affecting footwat

Trees/shrubs belonging to 90 & 92 Hook Road, Surbiton, are overhanging the footway, reducing headroom to under 6ft.

  • Problem still remains; some Council services are now shared with Sutton, and my guess is that this is one of them. Probably lack of manpower to take action on this hazard.

  • Not fixed. Local Councillor has been contacted and taken photos to show Officers. But these things take time - housholders have to be notified, etc. But some feed back from Council would be good - like it's in hand. Silence isn't good.

  • Council Officers have visited the site and issued enforcement notices, but problem remains, until householders comply with their orders.
