Broken Drain inspection hole cover and sinking kerb stones

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category by Trish Craig at 23:00, Thu 21 September 2017

Sent to Lancashire County Council 5 minutes later

Drain cover hinges are broken and every time it is clipped by passing traffic it flips up leaving the inspection hole uncovered and the cover itself in a hazardous position. It is an accident waiting to happen if a vehicle clips the open hole. The cover is replaced by residents almost on a daily basis. Construction vehicles, buses and heavy traffic are breaking the kerb. This pavement is used as a school walking route.
