Manhole cover very noisy on a busy road

Sent to Tower Hamlets Borough Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1111455.

One manhole cover is making a lot of noise when drived over. The noise is keeping me awake at night. This is a very busy road and the manhole click and clacking several times a minute. I'm struggling to sleep most nights due to this issue, and it has lasted for several weeks now.

Updates

  • No point in posting here. This goes to the council and the council are nothing to do with it. It's down to TfL and then ultimately Thames water who own it. I first reported it this time to TfL in July. (as well as every 6 months for the last 4 years). Still nothing has been done. I email or ring nearly everyday. The ref no is 10710725 for TfL.
