Skip & barriers taking up 2 parking spaces - yet again.

Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 18:47, Sunday 17 September 2017

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 3 minutes later

This has happened yet again. According to the notice there is permission for a skip to occupy 1 parking space here till the end of September. But with the extended barrier around it, it is taking up 2. As the students are returning, every inch of on-street parking is needed. Please can the skip only reduce the number of parking spaces by 1, as per the notice.

Updates

  • Fixed. The Council say: 'The gentleman is aware is he only permitted to take up one space'. And he is now doing so. He was actually probably always aware that was what he was permitted, just thought he could get away with taking up another space too.

    State changed to: Fixed

  • The skip and barriers are taking up their space correctly, but rubbish such as old mattresses are now being dumped in it.
