Heading along Corinium Avenue towards wall's roundabout, the left lane splits into two. Then, the left lane of this split allows drivers to go either onto Barnwood Road or Easter Avenue, and what is the middl lane allows traffic to go straight onto Eastern Avenue. This means that the left hand lane of Corinum Avenue gives you 3 potential options. The right hand lane, however, only gives you one option: heading towards Gloucester city centre.
Frequently, the left lane on Cornium Avenue builds up considerably more than the right hand lane. Towards the roundabout cars cut into the middle lane from the right where drivers in the left have priority.
Surely the answer is to have the right hand lane split into two before the roundabout. This would give you the following: Left hand lane: Barnwood Road eastbound/Eastern Avenue Right-hand lane: Eastern Avenue and City Centre. In other words each lane on Corinium Avenue would give you two options as opposed to 3 and 1.
