Sent to Slough Borough Council 2 minutes later
Probably nothing you can do about this but the council really need to know about the speeding along Odencroft. The cars have been flying down here, some I reckon at about 50mph or more. It's dangerous for children and I think small speed bumps need to be introduced , something to minimise people's speed. I don't see why people have to fly down here, it's not only dangerous for people but for cars too. One has already been hit long the road due to speed. I think small bumps (tarmac ones) would be helpful not the big ramps or red ones there are down the main roads, just something little may help. Makes me cringe hearing the speed some people go down the road.
Copy provided to Neighbourhood Specialist Officer PC Ryan.
A time when most of the speeding occurs would be useful, the direction of travel, colours of cars, makes of cars and anything about the drivers and passengers helps too.
In Long Furlong ***each*** of the square speed bumps costs over £ 1,100

Police say they are aware of speeding issues linked to ASB in the area with mopeds.
Odencroft is on their patrol plan as an ASB hotspot and is regularly patrolled.
A number of Mopeds and motor bikes have been seized from young people in the area for various reasons helping to reduce these issues.
