Caravans and travellers invading BS5. We are fed up, DO SOMETHING.

As a result of Bristol City Council's failure to act upon what was once a small issue, the whole of the BS5 area has seen a huge increase in travellers living in vehicles. We as residents are fed up. Something needs to be done. These vans are on the sides and corners of just about every road, including but not limited to: Greenbank View, GREENBANK ROAD, Co-Operation Road and BRUCE ROAD. This was once a pleasant and quiet neighbourhood. Now there are ugly vans everywhere. The travellers have no respect at all for the residents here. During the day and at random hours of the morning/night they come out making so much noise with whatever wood work and refurbishments they are making to their "homes", or friendly gatherings. They are parked where residents should be able to park their cars. 6 trucks have been reported on Bruce road, as well as two reports of used hypodermic needles on the same road. Coincidence? I think not. Parking, noise, needles in the road along with all the other issues have never been a problem in this area, so why now? Because of all these travellers. This is illegal, WHY IS NOTHING BEING DONE? It is getting out of control.
