Sent to Hampshire County Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1106056.
Highlands road where it crosses the line of the old railway diversion line has sunk again, and whilst it's not a 'step' change in height the ramp is effectively very short and steep for the change is road surface height. The road has been remade on it's surface several times in recent years to bring it level, but still it sinks where the bridge over the line was infilled. The heavy trucks illegally using the road don't help, but the pounding the road suffers alone is not enough to cause this unless there is an underlying defect and subsidence. Hopefully this will be properly repaired before the road falls into the adjacent gardens and homes and a road user is hurt.

Having been away for several weeks I was not surprised to find the road has sunk further.

Road surface now splitting along the 'edge' of what seems to be a beam of some sort along the road way.
