Parking on pavement down the road and blocking footpath. Also dangerous when pulling out of driveway and coming in as cars park right upto driveway entrance. It is a bend in the road and wirh vehicles parked, almost impossible to see tonpull out. Vehicles drive so quickly this is an accident waiting to happen. It is also a regular bus route upto 11;30pm every day. Lastly, a bus scraped a car recently as was unable to get past the caravan others were parked on the other side too.

This road is difficult to negotiate because of parking. When pulling in or out of our drive it is almost impossible to see because of cars blocking the view, both on the bend and down the road. Cars and camper van partially block pavement, but definitely block the view. Add school parking on a morning and this is an accident waiting to happen. A bus scraped a car recently as couldn't get through as it came off the bend due to parking both sides. Also cars speed down and up here again making it dangerous to get in and out of driveway as cannot see and they come so fast they can't see you either. Parking had got worse and is all day and night. Most vehicles are residents and added to this school parking too. This has been ongoing for about 12 months. It is worst around 14-30 Harewood Rd Hg32tn and especially outside of 22/24 which just sit on the cusp of a bend.

Fix My Street was a 3rd party system that the Council subscribed to until 31st December 2016. The Council no longer subscribes to this system as it has its own Report It forms, which allows us to handle your query and take action much quicker than the previous Fix My Street system and therefore all customers are asked to use the Council’s formal system for Report It.

We would therefore be very grateful if you would use this link info/ 20150/ report_it for future reports.
