Overgrown Hedgerow & Verge

200 yards up the single lane part of Haverflatts Lane from Milnthorpe finds the hedge and verge so overgrown it's almost impossible to get along without getting scratched (whilst on foot). Imagine then, how difficult it is in a car. Despite never going above walking speed in my car it has scratches on both sides. It used to get cut twice a year, now it's not done properly once a year. It needs doing, and doing so properly. The attached image is what we're told is a passing place. Doesn't look like it does it! Please get it cut. Thank you.

D Unfortunately the problem of overhanging hedgerows remains. Parts of the lane have now been cut, but there remains a 200 yard long stretch that is extremely overgrown. I have taken secateurs and cut the worst offending brambles, but of course, they have grown back.
