Speed hump on exiting Cape Road is too high.
Reported in the Obstruction or hazard on road category anonymously at 15:40, Sat 9 September 2017
Sent to Warwickshire County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1104576.
Speed humps have been put in place at the entrance/exit of Cape Road with Wedgenock Lane. The hump to exit Cape Road would appear to be too high and is certainly larger than the others resulting in it hitting the bottom of my car each time I exit. There are visible scratch marks/indentations on the hump where vehicles have travelled over it and caught the underside of the cars. As a result I now have to pass over the top on the hump using one side of my vehicle, which will cause unequal wear to my tyres and issues with tracking. I shall be checking when my vehicle is serviced if the height of the hump has caused any underneath damage.

I still believe this is an issue and it continues to catch the bottom of my car and others by the amount of scratches on it. Someone did report back to me from the Council that it was assessed and it was higher than it should be but that it would be monitored. In my opinion, if you're stating it's higher than it should be, this should have been resolved not purely monitored as monitoring of a hump is not going to achieve anything.
