The lane markings on the road surface have almost disappeared in Wat Tyler Way on the approach to the A20. The centre lane should be for vehicles taking the A249 northbound and the right hand lane should be for vehicles taking the A20 to Ashford. Some vehicles take the centre lane and cut across vehicles when they take the A20 travelling east. Furthermore, there are no road signs prior to the junction (northbound) indicating where the lanes are heading. There is a sign however AFTER the junction which gives directions.
