Over grown bushes with spiky tendrils blocking ramp to Cutgate shops on Edenfield Rd

Reported in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 20:35, Sunday 3 September 2017

Sent to Rochdale Borough Council 4 minutes later

This is extremely dangerous especially for people with mobility problems or wheelchairs. You have to keep to the left going down due to spiky bushes, where there is a drop. The bushes need to be removed or cut back hard. There also needs to be a hand rail for safety on this slope it is an accident waiting to happen, it is especially bad in winter due to icy conditions and nothing to hold on to.

  • The bushes were cut back within 2 days, great response from Rochdale Council. I am still waiting for a new safety hand rail to be put up..
