Mess left by virgin media workmen

The workmen that are digging up the pavement on behalf of virgin media to lay cables all around the kingsley avenue/ghyllroyd drive area are leaving a disgusting dirty mess after they have finished each street, there is soil, sand grit etc all over the place, surely the workmen should leave the path and road in the condition it was before they started ?
As of 1st September the council no longer acknowledges requests via fixmystreet.com. For action to be taken you need to report issues direct through their website or call them, otherwise nothing will be done.

We are moving down the route of digital by design where the onus is on customers to create a citizen portal for them to log and track their requests. Therefore from the 1st September 2017 any requests received via fix my street will not be input onto any system for investigation / action. You need to log requests via the Council website for these to be dealt with. Please click on the link below and select the relevant category.
