Cars blocking access

Sent to Hillingdon Borough Council 3 minutes later
Cars on Nine Acres Close blocking the road and access, sometimes partially, sometimes completely. There is no way that emergency vehicles can get through. At least two ambulances in the past have been completely blocked! This is a problem on the part of the close with the red brick paved road, starting at number 4 and going right the way round. Not a visible problem during working hours. If there is ever a fire there is no hope of the fire brigade getting through in time. This behaviour may cost lives in the future!
Council are unable to act as the road is unadopted and still property of Barratt Homes.

This is still an issue and in fact most of the street is adopted by the council with the exception of a small area.

Getting worse. This request/complaint is on a public record on this site. We all saw the horrors of what happened to people in Grenfell recently. If there is a fire, people could die in their homes because the emergency services cannot get through. It may happen one day - is it really worth ignoring?

More recently cars that are owned by people working in the Stockley Park Pro Logis Estate are leaving their cars irresponsibly parked in Nine Acres Close. This morning I had to confront someone who was parking partially blocking access to one side of the close. This close has very little parking available to residents let alone people working in Pro Logis! Hillingdon Council needs to put up signs that non residents are not allowed to park in the close.
