Fencing not replaced.

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 11:46, Thu 24 August 2017

Sent to Bolton Borough Council 4 minutes later

Most of the wooden fencing on either side of the pavement on Plodder Lane, Farnworth, where the old railway bridge used to be, was removed several months ago and has not been replaced. On the south side of the road there is a steep bank which is overgrown with vegetation, with a drop about 20 foot deep down to the old railway cutting. Without the fencing there is a danger that pedestrians could fall down this banking and suffer serious injury. On the north side of the road there is a bank with a 2-3 foot drop down to the field. Also here part of the fencing has been left with a horizontal piece sticking out that pedestrians could walk into.
