Overhanging foliage in Hayes Way, Shortlands
Reported in the Public tree requires pruning category anonymously at 22:25, Mon 21 August 2017 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to Bromley Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1093638.
The verge foliage on the southern side of Hayes Way between Scott's Lane and the Wickham Road/Wickham Way roundabout is overhanging the carriageway along a good proportion of the highway thus narrowing the width of the available carriageway & seriously reducing the Forward Stopping Sight Distances (FSSD) which is required for highway safety purposes. These large bushes and verge ground spread in the appear to be owned by L B of Bromley. This safety issue has been getting worse over the last growing season.
