Manhole Cover noise nuisance - URGENT

Just mentioning what has already been said by another resident. Maybe by creating a new report, somebody is going to do something about it.

"The noise from this man hole cover is intolerable. It's causing me many sleepless nights it's so loud. The offending cover is directly opposite Jardine road east bound (pic attached). It needs to be addressed as a matter of urgency."

It's not the first this happens. Please do something!

Updates

  • This problem seems to come almost every 6 months with the same issue. The drain cover bends due to the heavy lorries and trucks that go over it. It then becomes noisy and a nuisance to local residents. It is a terrible noise which keeps residents awake at night. The council needs to remove the drain cover completely otherwise it will continually being repaired at the tax payers expense. The other issue is the over excess weight of Lorries which are not being monitored by the police or council.
