An 8 foot long 15 inch wide area pot hole
Reported in the Roads/highways category by David Parkinson at 09:25, Thu 17 August 2017
Sent to Lancashire County Council 5 minutes later
This area is scoured out by rain water that runs down old road, which has poor surface water collection. The pot hole is now 2-3 inches deep and is losing large stones which are left lower down the hill after heavy rain. The lose stones are a major hazard to vehicles driving up the hill and to other road users and pedestrians who could be hit by flying stones.
This location was repaired before, but only poorly patched.
Reply from LCC to say it will be fixed. The pothole has been marked ready.
