Uncut verges and overgrown trees
Reported in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 20:21, Sun 13 August 2017
Sent to Leicestershire County Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1089088.
This road - Meadow Lane- has 60mph speed limit.... and is also cycle and bridle way as well as a popular route for walkers. The 2 photos show how much it had overgrown in a 3 month period (the grit bin is invisible now under the long grass) , and shows the lack of usable footpath

Another user of Meadow Lane has paid privately for it to be cut to his property from the entrance on Glebe way. His property ends at the road bridge & that is where the cutting ends - the resat of Meadow Lane is just the same - overgrown & dangerous for other users

Even after a landowner interfered further up Meadow Lane & cut the verges leading to his property - we let the council know that further down had still not been done & it was done a little while later. Thanks
