Street lighting is very poor

The street lighting is so poor i have seen people using their mobile phones as torches so they can see where their walking, we need one more lamp installed between the bungalow and 5 aylward is been like this ever since the new energy saving lamps were installed and they removed one lamp and did not replace it

  • The contractor was to carry out light level test in our road this week and inform me of the results however as usual nothings been done and i've had no contact from the contractors

  • All the trees in Alyward Road have now been cropped back and i have informed Skanska of this Skanska will carry out another light level test the week commencing 23rd October 2017 and will inform me of the test results, I would like to add that the light level is still too low between the lamps and an additional lamp will need to be installed.

  • Still awaiting for light level test to be carried out by Skanska, I was in contact with Marc via E-mail this week but due to work load he was unable to do the light level test this week however Marc stated he will do his best to do the test week commencing 6th October 2017
