General street litter
Reported in the Street cleaning category anonymously at 14:31, Wed 9 August 2017
Sent to East Sussex County Council and Hastings Borough Council 4 minutes later
An abundance of litter has accumulated in the gully and on the footway in Victoria Avenue between Greville Road and Old London Road, the street cleaner was seen in Greville Road this morning when it came up to the top end turned round and went back down, did not clean Victoria Avenue, is this because Greville Road is in Tressell ward and Victoria Avenue is in Ore ward? From SAD OWLS Residents Action Group I have tried to report this via My Hastings but there is a problem the link which requests choose and address but it won't let you therefore you can't submit your problem.

Still open, via questionnaire, 13:13, Sat 23 September 2017
We have seen an ESCC Highways engineer looking at the area mentioned, yet to date it still floods and looks a mess with litter and slippery mud on the pavement as a result of the blocked drains. Elderly people regularly use this pavement to access Ore Village so is it going to take a fall by one of them to get any action done to sort it once and for all. Highways keep saying issues have been logged so why has nothing been done about it????

Following our last update to which we had an excellent response, cleaned up on the following Sunday. However leaves are now causing drains to block and very slippery pavements, we have had one elderly gentleman report to us that he slipped over on the leaves at the Greville Road, Victoria Avenue corner fortunately he only sustained abrasions to his knees and hands, but it could have been worse.
