Street drinking

Reported by Pete Mc at 23:33, Mon 7 August 2017

Sent to Lincoln City Council and Lincolnshire County Council 1 minute later

I'd suggest that the Council considers removing these benches on Portland street, near the High Street end. The are a favourite spot for gangs of dodgy blokes who use them for boozing sessions. It's not much fun walking or cycling past them. When they eventually move off they leave heir tins lying around which makes the place look bad. The original idea for installing them might have been well-intentioned but you've accidentally created a social problem within the area. You'll never see a family or older local residents sat here passing the time - they'd not risk it.
