Parkland and local road / path are disgraceful
Reported in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 09:26, Tue 25 July 2017 using FixMyStreet Pro
Sent to South Oxfordshire District Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1077574.
Unacceptable length of time for use by the gas company to use as a dumping ground, without efforts to keep the road or path clean, in fact the hole road is a disgrace which has been made worse by the gas works . Again no effort has been made to keep the road tidy during the gas works apart from residents sweeping up themselves, regular road sweeping would help but ultimately this road needs resurfacing.

The issue of the reinstatement and cleaning of the roads and paths would be for Oxfordshire County Council, as the highways authority, to address. I have checked with our Estates Team and the district council is not aware of any permission being given for the gas company to use our open space during their works, so I will follow this up.

Only just got through to the correct team co ordinating the work. Permission to use open space for storage was given by the county council not the district council. Work will be completed next week and storage material removed soon after. I've been assured that the area will be restored to its original condition. I have their contact details to follow up if not done to our satisfaction.
