Tree over hangs my front garden shedding seedlings

Reported in the Public tree requires pruning category by Mrs Julie Buckland at 16:35, Monday 17 July 2017 using FixMyStreet Professional

Sent to Bromley Council 5 minutes later

The branches are rather large and over hang my front garden, the photos were taken in the beginning of April so the tree shed the seeds about February/ March. This makes many hours of work as each one gently needs to be picked out carefully so you get all the roots out. It is very hard work especially as I am 58 and have some back and hip trouble. Can you let me know how best to resolve this problem. I know there are cut backs but I was told the trees used to be cut every 2 years and I have now lived in this house for 2.5 years now. The location of the tree is to the right if you have your back to Cranbrook Close.
