New small rectangular paving slabs are being installed near Thorntons Corner. They are total trip hazards as have irregular surfaces. People will be tripping, stumbling and twisting ankles over these and I pity anyone with poor sight or even a slight walking disability. What a bad choice for expensive new paving - it islikely to casue the Council a lot of money when accidents commence suing.

Thank you for your enquiry. The site is checked regularly by the contractor and the council, if any area is deemed unsafe the contractor will repair their work. The work will also be snagged at the end of the scheme to pick up anything which may have been missed during the works, again if there is anything deemed unsafe or a hazard the contractor would repair this at their own cost.
