Overgrown weeds encroaching on pavement

Reported in the Pavements/footpaths category anonymously at 23:00, Fri 14 July 2017

Received by Buckinghamshire County Council moments later

The stretch of Thorney Lane North between number 36 and Barnes Way is terribly overgrown. It is impossible to push a buggy through without putting two wheels on the grass and you can only walk in single file.

The issue is also present between the canal and railway on thorney lane north which combined with the flooding issue which occurs everytime it rains makes it impossible to pass.

As a busy pavement which links iver village to the railway I would have thought that seeing to these issues would be a priority.

  • The grass has been cut but the weeks are now almost completely covering the path in some places. My daughter has just been stung by the stinging nettles. Please sort this issue without further delay. The weeds have grown even more since first posting.
