Burnt bin cover causing rubbish to be scattered over park corner

Reported in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 09:17, Fri 14 July 2017

Sent to South Oxfordshire District Council 3 minutes later

The cover for the bin that is just off the path in the south west corner of the park was burnt several weeks ago, yet there is no sign of a replacement. This means that rubbish is constantly strewn around that corner of the park, which is not helped by people's insistence on putting rubbish in the bin when it is already overflowing. There was even a small indication of fly-tipping there yesterday, when someone dumped a shopping trolley and other items there, and it looked like the bin hadn't been emptied for a few days. Basically, this corner of the Kinecroft park is starting to look a bit like a small rubbish tip. Please fix this as soon as possible, before it becomes a permanent eyesore. A bin/bin cover isn't that expensive.
