UN-cleared vehicle remains

Reported in the Abandoned vehicles category by Donald Booth at 15:47, Wed 5 July 2017

Sent to Kirklees Borough Council 3 minutes later

The writer has just taken all of 10 minutes to bag up those parts of a burned-out vehicle (Renault, judging by its badge) which those who were paid to remove the vehicle remains didn't bother to remove*. The bag stands on the site of the burning-out, ready for collection. * Pay rise, anyone?

  • Not Council land - waste cannot collect.

  • The Council say, “Not Council land - waste cannot collect.” Ergo: Problem solved! Who removed the burnt-out vehicle? Why did they not do the job properly? Can they not be REQUIRED to do the job properly? And the vehicle was burnt-out literally ADJACENT TO a Council-owned road!

  • Annoying. Frustrating. But the job has been done. Thank you, someone.
