Illegal Camp Site

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 00:24, Monday 3 July 2017

Sent to Worthing Borough Council 1 minute later

The location is goring gap south, and an illegal gypsy camp has been set up. This has happened because they have gained access due to the broken barrier in Amberley drive, junction with the plantation, this barrier was reported broken weeks ago and no attempt has been made to fix it. The site is noisy with generators running 24 hours, rubbish such as fridges, bin bags and old carpet litter the verges, yet the council are supposed to monitor this, houses have had stones thrown at them at night. Surely this whole site should be more secure as no doubt the clear up bill will be taken on by the council tax payers and not the travellers, having had previous warnings about the broken barriers this whole incident could have been avoided.
