Street-sign-nameplate completely missing; 2x support-post left exposed/unsafe.

Reported in the Street nameplates category anonymously at 19:02, Fri 30 June 2017

Sent to East Sussex County Council and Hastings Borough Council 3 minutes later

I just happened to notice/realise, today, in passing.

I don't know if this is, in fact, a 'legacy issue' (as in, a street-sign-nameplate has been intentionally removed, and the 2x support-post removal is pending/to-follow), or 'vandalism' (as in, 'someone else' has removed the nameplate, and they've left the 2x support-post in a hazardously exposed/bending-over state).

Thank you.

  • (Apologies for me not updating sooner: I'm the original poster of the problem, and can verify that the council subsequently promptly contacted me regarding this issue, and have as-quickly fixed it. (It was in fact 'vandalism', as a new replacement nameplate has been installed (+ associated (re)fixings).) Thank you (and to them).)
