Fire emergency access has been blocked by school

Reported via Android in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 19:56, Wed 28 June 2017

Sent to Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council 4 minutes later

We live in a terraced house. Our only means of escape in the event of a fire is onto the field. The headmistress has installed the fence without consulting residents and has thus removed our only fire exit. Considering what happened at grenfell Tower is it right for the headmistress to put lives in danger then say she doesn't have to justify her actions to residents. Are schools no longer considered part of the community. Or the concerns of residents simply ignored. THE FENCE NEEDS TAKING DOWN MOVING OR FIT AN EMERGENCY EXIT DOOR

  • Clearly the school quite happy to treat residents like criminals. Planning section treated me with utter contempt. how DARE I challenge the school for blaming us for THEIR problems!
