Safety Traffic accidents and conflict at Farrington Gurney

Reported via Android in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 20:44, Tue 27 June 2017

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 minute later

The road layout design is not working. Two lanes into a single lane is forcing traffic into head on collisions. At approx 0944 this morning a blue van hit and broke off a wing mirror and scraped a car trying to pass where the prioirty is assumed to the midsomer Norton direction of traffic. This clearly causes conflict and encourages traffic to drive at each each other head on. I suggest either do away with the obstruction and create parking off road parking or install proper priority traffic control measures.
