Footpath overgrown and forcing pedestrians onto busy and dangerous road
Reported anonymously at 11:44, Mon 26 June 2017
Sent to Stratford-on-Avon District Council and Warwickshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1060817.
We wrote to the County Council about this footpath, three years ago asking that the kerbs, tar macadam and surfacing of this footpath be reviewed and resolved into a safe and useable surface. We received a response that said this would be carried out in the following spring. Nothing subsequently has ever been done. The footpath has now virtually completely been lost and forces all pedestrians out onto the road, which has a blind hill. This footpath is the main route for pedestrians in Halford get to the bus stop on the Stratford Road. Due to no response the work will now cost more to pout right. before the footpath is completely lost, can we please ask that urgent attention is given to this matter.

Does anyone even read these things...A further 2 months and no acknowledgement, no call, no email...not even an excuse that it is not a big enough issue to bother with - disgusted! Thanks for making our taxes so worthwhile.

I doubt that these responses are even being read?
If it is, clearly no one cares to even respond.
Poor service from council.
