Dangerous Broken Concrete Fence Posts

Reported in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 10:35, Tue 20 June 2017

Sent to Rushmoor Borough Council 5 minutes later

Hi, There seems to be a number of broken/sheered concrete fence posts on the fencing between Ambleside Close and Rushmoor Community FC Playing Fields (Adjacent to electrical works). I wouldn't normally report this, but this time I feel they're unsafe as children regularly play on the field. As they are completely sheered they're now only being held at the top by a single wire, meaning this called fall on a child at any point. (one other post is now lying on the floor, freed from any securing wire) As mentioned, there are several of these posts that are now damaged and as residents, we would be very grateful if these could be replaced to avoid any harm,

Many Thanks and Kind Regards.

  • No feedback received whatsoever. Posts are still broken and one is now lying on the grass next to the fencing. I've seen kids climbing on the fences playing games, only a matter of time before one gets injured.
