Rainwater drain grid blocked
Reported via iOS in the Street cleaning category by Alan Nolan at 00:00, Sat 17 June 2017
Sent to West Lancashire Borough Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1055785.
Blocked drain grid in gutter at corner of Long Lane / Prescot Road, causing flooding at junction. Drivers usually take avoiding action by pulling into centre of junction. Sometimes cars go straight through puddle, potentially splashing pedestrians waiting to cross at the lights.

The problem is apparently "fixed", in that the grid is now only partially blocked. However, there is plenty of debris just waiting to be washed down the gutter and block the grid again!!!

The rainwater drain grid is blocked again, and long stretches of gutter are filled with tree debris. The adjacent sidewalks are covered in tree debris. IF the County Council ever clears the gutters, they will immediately fill up again because the Borough Council has not swept the sidewalks!!! Not joined up!
