Inconsiderate parking

Reported via Android in the Car parking category anonymously at 21:45, Sat 10 June 2017

Sent to Brentwood Borough Council 5 minutes later

The way people park along here is so inconsiderate I walk this way on a regular basis and since these building works started it as become near enough impossible to walk passed without having to walk in the road. We have a baby and my wife has had to walk in the road with pram as people double park on the opposite side making it impossible to cross over. I think possibly double yellows on one side and an increase in restriction on the side where the works are taking place or maybe double yellows on both sides.

  • The Council should stop giving planning permission to Developers for sites without adequate parking for start. This site has been boarded outside their boundary and over half of the pavement which shouldn't have been allowed, especially as no works had been started for nearly a year!

  • To add to that, the Council are now planning to build on all the local car parks, so we can only expect this type of parking to get worse.
